Spherical Amphibious Robotic Vehicles System
GuardBot Inc. is focused on the design and development of spherical unmanned amphibious vehicle systems. The current GuardBot design has two payload bays and is used for military, homeland security and commercial applications. Conceived in 2004 for a space planetary mission on Mars, GuardBot remains unique with no known competition. GuardBot, Inc. owns an exclusive license for this technology which is protected by multiple US and foreign patents.
GuardBot is integrating a variety of defense and commercial sensors in the GuardBot ball-shaped vehicle system which travels on paved road, off-road, sand, snow, sloped surfaces and water. GuardBot is the only known spherical unmanned amphibious vehicle systems that can navigate upstream. Its battery powered pendulum motion drive system can operate continuously for eight hours on one charge and reach speeds of 6 mph on land and 3 mph in water.
GuardBot can operate in several demanding missions. GuardBot demonstrations have been performed at various defense and commercial venues. GuardBot Inc is responding to demands for robust GuardBot vehicle systems with advanced control, redundancy, extended battery life and advanced payload integration and management. Advanced payloads tested and considered include: imaging devices, IED and radiation detection sensors, sonars, energetics and advance radios.
